Government seems to have a propensity for overreaching and Amarillo’s City Commission isn’t immune from the affliction.

That which started as a plan to craft an ordinance for a citywide ban of texting while driving expanded with the commission asking the city attorney to draft a much broader ordinance. What that measure would bar isn’t clear — yet — but what is clear is that the City Commission is working with flawed information.
