On March 3rd, at approximately 05:47 AM, officers were dispatched to a disorderly conduct complaint in the 200 block of S Florida. The victim a 28 year old female reported a man was standing in front of her car and refusing to leave. Comments (1)

***UPDATE March 5, 2013 – Lt. Erick Bohannon, Special Crimes Unit*** Relatives of the homicide victim at 2915 I40E were notified of her death. She was identified as Miranda Zimmerman, age 20. Preliminary autopsy results indicated she died from blunt force trauma to the upper body. If anyone has any information about this homicide, please call the Special Crimes Unit at 378-9468. |

The University of North Texas Survey Research Center in Denton will be performing the City’s Community Health Assessment (CHA) telephone survey. Landlines and mobile lines are being called and area citizens can expect to be asked health-related questions.
