About me: I am the mother of three — Jordan (13), Brooklyn (5) and Haven (3). My husband David and I tag-team all of life’s challenges. We are members of South Georgia Baptist Church. I work full-time in communications and specialize in public and media relations. I grew up in the Texas Panhandle and attended Amarillo College’s journalism program before transferring to Arizona State University, where I completed my degree in sociology. There, I served as senior editor of a national healthcare trade magazine, but when the opportunity arose, my family and I moved back to Amarillo. I am thrilled to be back in my hometown! Two of my favorite hobbies are beading and couponing. I’m just an average 30-something trying to navigate life as a mom, wife and career woman.

This feature on the Indy Web site is purposed to entertain Panhandle area families. It is our wish to bring you budgeting tips, parenting tips, make mention of upcoming family-friendly activities in our area, and act as a gateway to community-wide discussions on how we can best work together to strengthen our community.
