The Amarillo Symphony Guild's fall membershp meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Oeschger at 11 Citadel Dr.

Rossitza Goza, concertmaster of the Amarillo Symphony, and Dr. James Rauscher will perform several selections for violin and piano.

There will be a short business meeting.

Luncheon by Becky McKinley of Catering by Design: shredded beef sandwiches, chopped salad with corn, black beans, candied walnuts, tomatoes, avocado and honey mustard vinaigrette, and dessert.

Membership in the guild is open to anyone who wants to support the Amarillo Symphony in development of its orchestra and to educate and stimulate the appreciation of music in the community.

Three categories of membership are: active, $25; associate, $35; and life membership, $250 (a one-time payment).

Active members participate in a volunteer activity chosen from a variety of projects. The guild's projects include Symphony Ball, Christmas Round-Up, Vintage Amarillo, KinderKonzerts, Concerts for Young People, Young Performers Competition, Lunch & Listening, Instrument Express, Orchestra Courtesy and the Symphony Belle and Beau program.
